Q: |
Why is it so expensive to get
service here in Iraq as opposed to back home? |
|
A: |
Bandwidth in South West Asia is
extremely expensive because multiple satellites
must be used (with multiple International
satellite hops) to get the bandwidth to the
Theatre of Iraq. At home, bandwidth is nowhere
near the cost it is in Iraq because of America's
unsurpassed Internet and Wifi infrastructure,
the surplus of fiber backbones and high speed
cable lines to propagate the bandwidth. |

I'm trying to download a large
file but the download always breaks halfway
through and then I have to start all over again. |

Try using a download manager that
is able to resume broken downloads where they
left off. One (GetRight) is available on the
web. |

You should use PPPOE connections,
Only the hotspot accounts can work with the

No, no difference at all but some
